ED Medical Note

The ED medical note is designed to fit right in with standard ED documentation practices. You can use it however works best for you:

1. Conversation Mode:

2. Manual Entry:

• • If you prefer typing, you can enter brief phrases (including in medical notation) into the transcript box. i-scribe will polish the output.

The ED patient letter is a short and simple summary for the patient. It highlights what they came in for and what’s next in their care.

• Purpose:
• • Gives the patient a brief summary of their ED visit.
  • Covers any changes or additions to their medication.
  • Lays out the follow-up plan after discharge.
• How to Create It:
